hmmm...I wonder how you got your top ten? I think you got SD and SB confused, though.

I got most of my top 10 from past weeks...mixed with some Vegas results. I decided that SD was better than SB by a slight margin due to their play in the championship bracket at Vegas...SD lost to Florida 13-7, Carleton lost to Florida 13-7, but SB lost to Carleton 11-9. This was what put SD above SB in my mind.

A > b > c doesn't quite work that way. They always say never to do that in tournaments seedings, but I also don't see much of a way to do NUMP voting without reaches like this. In fact, these reaches make me a little uncomfortable so I decided not to do Nump voting. It could be a lot of fun though. Good luck, Brody

Ya....I mean, it's a poll that's not necessarily based on results as much as on opinions of voters. That's why I put Pitt at 18 and Delaware didn't get any votes...despite finishing higher than us at QCTU, I believe we're a better team. Same thing with having Georgia over NC State...NCSU has the head to head over Georgia, but I think that Georgia is the better team.

Do you mean the better team at Sect, Reg, Nationals? Therefore, the current results don't matter as much? They are just prepping themselves?

Makes ense.

Nah, I mean the better team now. I was making my best assessment of the overall ability of a team, rather than making my assessment on one specific game or tournamament.....at least, for teams where I have enough information to do that. I think making any assessment of a team from, say, only head to head matchup and not looking at the big picture is shortsighted. With NC State and Georgia...having played and seen both teams, I believe that Georgia is the better team, despite what the head to head result will tell you. With Pitt/Delaware, neither have played each other and Delaware has a better tournament result (QCTU), but having seen them play, I believe that our depth of skilled players make us a better team than them.
